The study used 100 crossbred (Duroc ? Large white ? Landrace) piglets weaned at 28 days of age with a mean body weight of 8.92 ±1.18 kg. Result: 5g/kg of Pleurotus reduced diarrhea 51%.

  • 1.IL-2, IgG, IgM, TNF-α and IgA all increased(p < 0.05)(Adams et al. 2019)
  • 2.Reduce the inflammatory response of alveolar macrophages induced by Salmonella Typhimurium lipopolysaccharide(Solano-Aguilar et al. 2018)
  • 3.β(1-3 ) (1-6 ) -D-glucan can stimulate growth, immunocyte phagocytic activity and IL-2 production (Vetvicka and Oliveira 2014)
  • 4.Short-chain fatty acid production in pig feces, antioxidant capacity in serum, interleukin-2 and growth hormone content all increase(Liu et al. 2020)
  • 5.The Bacteroidetes and Firmicutes colonies in piglet manure increased significantly(Adams et al. 2019)
  • 6.Increase the number of Clostridiales which can improve intestinal health by actively regulating the metabolism of intestinal flora in pig(Solano-Aguilar et al. 2018)
  • 7.Increase its productivity and enhance immunity, which is related to the increase in the number of beneficial bacteria, Bifidobacterium and Lactobacillius in the intestines, and the decrease of pathogenic bacteria (Clostridium, Enterobacter). (Tlabela et al. 2015)
  • 8.Treatment of enteritis caused by B. hyodysenteriae(Swine dysentery)

Chicken feeding experiments

  • 1.Improve growth, stimulate the immunity and replace antibiotics (Hassan etal. 2020; Khan et al., 2018; Muthusamy et al 2013; Muthusamy et al. 2020)
  • 2.Significantly increase of IgG, IL-2, IL-4 and IL-6(p < 0.05), significantly increase the resistance to Newcastle disease virus (Mahfuz et al. 2018; Mahfuz et al. 2019)
  • 3.Replace antibiotics, increase surviving rate and poultry performance (Paul et al., 2012; Moon et al. 2016)
  • 4.Increase FCR (Daneshmand et al. 2011; Toghyani et al. 2012)
  • 5.Antioxidation(Khan et al., 2018)
  • 6.Improve gut health(Khan et al., 2018)
